Hi: Now offically a senior citizen, I'm looking forward to getting my senior discounts. Watch them change the age limit on me.

Just some facts about me: I semi-retired four years ago when I started to caregive my 88 year old Mom. That has become a real challenge but I'm learning to cope. I live in Northern California, was born and raised here too. I'm single with two wonderful adult children who make me very proud. I like to cook, do arts & craft projects, love day trips to find new adventure, but sadly, I haven't had the time to explore lately.  

I found HubPages purely by accident...I wanted to share my experiences on care-giving, looked on the Internet for Blogs and found this site. I'm now addicted and my hubs are mainly about family relationships, care-giving and my experiences.
